I grew up on a farm near Gibbon, Nebraska. I graduated from Gibbon High School in 2001. After high school, I went to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where I majored in Business Education, and graduated in May 2005. In the fall of 2005, I started my teaching career at Howells High School in Howells, Nebraska. Through some mutual teacher friends I met my husband, Scott. We got engaged in the spring of 2007 and I moved back to Lincoln. The fall of 2007, I started teaching at Elmwood-Murdock High School. I enjoyed seven year there, and in the Fall of 2014 I started teaching here at Norris Public Schools.
My husband and I have 4 children: Elisabeth, Andrew, Stacie & Hayden.
